Yes, completely free. There's no subscription, no paywall and no premium tier - every trip list and feature is available to everyone.
Do I need an account?
No. PackParrot works with no sign-up and no login. Your lists are saved in your browser, so they're there next time without an account.
Where are my packing lists stored?
On your own device, in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device unless you choose to export or share them, which is why the tool also works offline.
Can I create more than one list?
Yes. Keep as many separate lists as you like - one per trip, or one per family member - and switch between them from the list menu.
Can I combine different trip types?
Yes. Select several trip types and PackParrot merges them into one list, removing items that appear in more than one so you get a clean, duplicate-free checklist.
Can I print or share my packing list?
Yes. From Export you can print a clean checklist, save a PDF, share a link, copy the list as text, or download a JSON backup.
Can I install PackParrot on my phone?
Yes. On Android, tap the Install app button and confirm. On iPhone, open PackParrot in Safari, tap Share and choose Add to Home Screen. Once installed it opens full screen and your lists keep working offline.
